If you are a foreigner, you will love this place. Set back in off the road, it is quiet and peaceful and the air is fresh . It is a great place to excape to and was an exceptional space to pass the tow years of lockdowns.

The home is large, open and rustic with open high ceilings and wooden beams. If you believe in Feng Shui, it has great energy. The grounds have native plants plus a lot of fruit trees - everything is organic. There are 4 types of guava (read about this fruit. It has more Vit C than oranges and a lot of other medicinal benefits). There are three types of avocados. Two varieties of lime and two types of oranges. There are also mandarin oranges, and cherimoya. If you like to compost there are three large compost bins. The finca has generally been maintained with no or very little chemicals. There is a large area for vegetable gardens and lots of flowers as well. Want to roast your own coffee ? There are four coffee bushes and about another half a dozen seedlings started. We have dogs but before the dogs there were lots of animals visiting - armadillo, monkeys and lots of birds.

From the finca you are accessible to two hospitals in under 15 minutes, one world class. The international airport is 20 minutes away and there now is good shopping in both Rionegro and La Ceja. If you like to golf, one of the best courses around, La Macarena is only 20 minutes. At the moment, El Tesoro Mall is about 50 minutes away.

If you are worried about security in the country the property has a 2 m high electric fence, cameras and lights. For us, add in a couple of big dogs and we feel quite comfortable.
